City of Beeskow - construction of a new day care center, lot 05 - planning of outdoor facilities

The city of Beeskow intends to build a new single-storey, barrier-free day care center on plots 384, 400, 403, 409, 410, 411, 412, hallways 4 and 20, Beeskow district.

It should offer care places for a total of 192 children:

- 6 crèche groups of 60 children each,

- 4 daycare groups of 72 children and

- 3 after-school care groups of 60 children each.

The after-school care center is used by the children of the primary school opposite.

A single-storey, barrier-free, U-shaped new building with the dimensions of 82.775mx 53.115m opposite the Fontane primary school is planned. The building is made up of 3 wings that enclose a spacious inner courtyard. This serves as a play and meeting area.

The building wings are assigned to the different age groups. In the west wing, which is closest to Fontane-Straße and thus offers a short drop-off and pick-up path for the parents, the nursery area is arranged with six groups.

Each group unit consists of a main room, an adjoining room (bedroom), sanitary unit and children's changing room. Personnel changing rooms and toilets and are arranged directly next to the group rooms. There is space for acclimatization and exercise in the southern area.

4 daycare groups are arranged in the east wing. Each group unit consists of a main room, an adjoining room and a sanitary unit. There is also an exercise room, visitor toilets, staff changing rooms, toilets and lounge as well as children's changing rooms.

In the north wing, which is located opposite the Fontanegrundschule and thus offers the shortest way for the children from school to day care center, 3 day care groups are arranged. A covered passage from the school to the after-school care center with a clearance height of 3.50 m is planned.

The main entrance is to the northeast. To the east, the hospital room and day-care center are connected. To the west, the children enter the group rooms through the changing room.

There is a main room and a side room for each group.

The corners of the U-shaped structure or the interfaces of the 3 building wings are raised as head structures. Some of these receive functions that can be used jointly by everyone. In the western end of the building, exercise room, handicraft and work room for the after-school care center as well as caretaker, technology, cleaning and pushchair storage room are planned.

In the eastern end of the building, children's, reheating and serving kitchens, dining rooms for after-school and day-care centers and sanitary rooms for the after-school children are arranged.

There is space for movement for each age group. The sanitary units in the crèche and daycare center are provided with natural light and ventilation.

The building is planned as a solid construction with a hipped roof in clay roof tiles. The entire building is planned with a circumferential arcade, which consists of a 2.25 m wide roof overhang and supports and serves as natural shade.

From all common rooms it is possible to enter and use the arcade, so that it is possible to stay outdoors even when it is raining.

A PV system is to be installed on the roof.

The different colors of the facade reflect the different uses of the building.

Sauna:

In the north-west a sauna with the dimensions 18.63 mx 10.47 m is planned. The single-storey building is a solid construction with a ventilated facade and hipped roof. Clay tiles are provided for the roofing.

A base area of 3.40 mx 10.47 m serves as a covered outdoor relaxation area.

Outdoor facilities:

The outdoor facilities are designed and equipped according to different topics and age-appropriate play and learning elements for the care groups.

Details can be found in the task description for the allocation of the planning of the outdoor facilities (lot 05).

The services up to service phase 4 (approval planning) have already been provided by the architects' office Isabell Tillack. The architecture office will also take part in this tender.

The measure is supported with funds from the urban development program “Socially Integrative City”.
