Renewal and modernization of the Bühlot outdoor pool in Bühlertal:

After more than 50 years of operation, the outdoor swimming pool built in the 1960s is in need of major renovation and modernization.

The following measures are planned:

- Reduction of the water surface of the existing combination pool from approx. 1,500 square meters to 960 square meters,

- Dismantling of the existing functional building and replacement with a two-part new building with accommodation of the technical systems as well as the changing, sanitary and personnel areas,

- Complete renewal of the water treatment system and the associated piping as well as renewal of the sanitary, heat supply and electrical systems,

- Installation of a stainless steel combination pool in the existing concrete pool,

- complete renovation of the outdoor facilities,

- Installation of a wide wave slide and a new jumping facility (1 m, 3 m, 5 m).

Start of construction: March 1, 2021 Completion: April 15, 2022 Total construction costs (KG 200-600): approx. 5.6 million EUR net.

Wide slide:

- 17 m wide wave slide made of stainless steel, 3 m wide,

- Steel stairs with a height of approx. 3.5 m,

- Shallow water landing basin approx. 3 x 6 m.

Service period:

- by week 8 2021: provide construction information for shell construction,

- by week 9 2021: submission of the execution drawings,

- from week 31 to week 32 2021. Installation of the slides.
