Conclusion of a framework contract for consulting and support services within the scope of the earnings assurance program ("ESP") for the short-term realization and long-term securing of profitability-enhancing profitability potentials, in particular the definition of the service portfolio as well as changes / optimization of service provision, organizational structures and process flows including the associated use of technical Solutions and systems as well as the consumption of material.
The performance is awarded in 2 lots.
With the award of the contract, the start of service is scheduled for at the earliest on 1.4.2020.
The consulting and support services ("consulting services"), including all associated organizational services, include the following service packages / subject areas:
1) Topic complex 1:
Establishment and operation of a project coordination office (see point 2.2.1 Specifications);
2) Topic complex 2:
Consulting services in the realization of the potential for securing results, in particular deepening of already existing analysis results through own investigations in the subject areas;
a) Clinical service provision;
b) service provision / support processes;
c) provision of services in the administrative area as well as
d) provision of services in the field of structural and technical infrastructure (see point 2.2.2 Specifications);
3) Topic 3:
Consulting services for optimizing the existing reporting system of the client (see section 2.2.3 Specifications);
4) Implementation of proposed or identified changes or results that improve results (see section 2.2.4 Specifications);
5) If required - support with programming and customizing regarding the software "eis.TIK.NET" (see section 2.2.5 Specifications).
The aim of the advisory services for realizing and implementing the potential for securing earnings through the definition of the service portfolio and changes (optimizations) in the provision of services is to adapt Vivantes' corporate organization to the current and rapidly changing normative framework conditions.
Consulting services in the optimization of structures, processes and content of billing of services provided (DRG and optional services) to payers and self-payers in the sense of revenue optimization.
Lot 2 is divided into 3 service packages:
1. Analysis of the quality of the primary documentation and coding for the period 2017-2019 (see point 3.2.1 Tender Specifications);
2. Subcoding and (re) billing of already encoded and billed DRG services for the period 1.4.2019 - 31.12.2019 including training (see section 3.2.2 Specifications);
3. Inspection and evaluation of MDK reports for cases from 1.1.2016 to 31.12.2018 (see section 3.2.3 Specifications).
