The main road is to be expanded over an expansion length of approx. 1.2 km. This includes the barrier-free expansion of the Brackwede Kirche stop. In the course of the expansion project, the existing Jenaer Straße sweeping track will be rebuilt in such a way that sweeping from both directions of travel will be possible.
Both the entrance and exit from Jenaer Straße and the turning at the new Brackwede Kirche stop must be secured by signals. The bicycle and pedestrian crossing at the junction of Jenaer Straße is to be signalled by a pedestrian warning system.
