The order includes the technical planning technical equipment acc. Part 4 Section 2 HOAI AG 1-3 for the refurbishment of the Wilhelm-Hauff-Schule Darmstadt, renovation of two separate buildings in a functional context
Task:
The Wilhelm Hauff School is a three-element primary school with currently about 200 students in the district Eberstadt-Süd. 2/3 of the children are in pact for the afternoon in the school context. The children take lunch in groups and are then cared for in this constellation. Class lessons and learning opportunities mainly take place in the main building. In the adjoining building organized in groups and tutoring takes place.
Renovation of the existing buildings:
The existing buildings with a total floor area of 4,520 sqm are to be structurally restructured. The necessary space program can be accommodated within the existing envelope. There are 6 classrooms with 60 sqm and 6 classrooms with 92 sqm of usable space.
Facade and roof should be renovated energetically. The heat supply is provided by district heating. The heat distribution system is expected to be partially preserved. The student toilets have been renovated in recent years. Due to the planned reorganization of the rooms, however, modifications of the heat supply systems and the sanitary facilities are necessary.
It is planned to work on the two buildings in construction phases, which should be specified in the course of the design planning.
For this demanding task, a well-planned and efficient planning office is sought in terms of both planning and construction.
The construction costs for the cost groups (each net) are estimated by the promoter according to current knowledge as follows:
KG 410 + 230 + 540 approx. 325 000 EUR
KG 420 about 400 000 EUR
KG 430 about 20 000 EUR
Implementation period
The construction of the HU-Bau will take place immediately after commissioning in the second quarter of 2019.

Building completion: 5/2022
