Services for a cooperation project in the field of "German-Indian cooperation for the development of the agricultural market" between the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Indian Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare (MoA & FW) are being put out to tender. In addition to the establishment of a dialogue platform for agricultural market development, the project aims to strengthen the capacities of relevant state institutions and actors in order to improve the agricultural marketing system. In addition, farmers' organizations are to be integrated into sustainable, market-oriented value chains.

The contract includes in particular consulting services from 2 long-term specialists and various short-term specialists. A working group is to be set up to enable a regular exchange between relevant decision-makers, experts and other actors on selected key issues in the field of agricultural market development. The preparation of studies and the implementation of specialist events serve to impart knowledge and should deepen the exchange of experiences. The capacities of representatives of state institutions and other target groups are also to be strengthened through tailor-made training measures and specialist information trips.
