NHS West Norfolk CCG is seeking to commission a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Triage service. The service will provide a responsive triage, which includes accurate assessment, diagnosis and treatment for all referrals to enable the appropriate management of patients with MSK conditions (including red flags). It will focus on high-quality, well-coordinated care which meets the needs of the local population. Referrals into the service will be triaged and responded to within 48 hours of receipt of referrals.
In-line with the recently published NHS England MSK Guidance, NHS West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group have reviewed their current service and wishes to competitively re-commission a Musculoskeletal(MSK) Triage service, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment for all referrals to enable the appropriate management of patients with MSK conditions (including red flags). The contract will be using the NHS Standard Contract over a 3 year term, and possible 24 months extension option. The expected date for service commencement is April 2018. A competitive open procedure will be followed.
