Fjell, Sund and Øygarden municipalities shall merge to one ‘New Øygarden municipality’ from 1.1.2020. Sund and Øygarden municipalities pension schemes are currently covered by the KLP's pension scheme. Fjell municipality has a separate pension fund. The Joint Commitee for New Øygarden municipality has decided that the new scheme shall be an insurance scheme.
