Axira is a cooperative, a partnership. From the members, for the members, by the members. The participants in the cooperative are completely independent, but work together where it is smart and sensible. For example in the areas of training, ICT, equipment development, purchasing, care concepts.

The following organizations are currently members of Axira:

- UMCG Ambulance Care,

— Kijlstra Ambulance Group Fryslan,

- RAV IJsselland,

- Ambulance East,

- Ambulance service South Holland South,

- Ambulance Zorg Limburg-Noord,

- Acute Care South Limburg.

The above members all participate in this tender.

The intention is that the participating members of Axira independently purchase the required numbers via a further agreement per service at once (*Kijlstra will do this not at once but during the term of the five-year agreement). Participating members of Axira have committed themselves to the reduction of the numbers mentioned in the tender document prior to this tender.
