Redesign of Münsterstraße, Freckenhorster Straße, Krickmarkt and Heumarkt

The city of Warendorf is preparing the old town for the future and renovating the central shopping areas - the streets Münsterstraße, Freckenhorster Straße, Krickmarkt and Heumarkt. In this context, the existing supply and disposal lines are to be renewed and the construction site for future supply lines is to be examined by archaeological accompanying work. For the first phase of the redesign of the pedestrian zone, the following works are to be carried out for the following trades:

The Warendorf wastewater company intends to renew the entire property connection pipes from the main sewer to the respective property boundaries in Freckenhorster Straße and Münsterstraße in Warendorf. The construction project includes the construction of approx. 300 m of land connection lines.

Stadtwerke Warendorf GmbH (water division) and Warendorfer Energieversorgung GmbH (electricity, gas, lighting and heat division) are planning to renew the water, gas and power lines.

The civil engineering work will be accompanied by archaeologists in order to allow a kind of construction freedom for the future construction of further supply lines. For this purpose, in addition to the route for the renewal of the property connection lines and supply lines, the facing away side of the road is to be recorded and examined by the city of Warendorf for archaeological finds.

The surface is to be restored only provisionally with a base surface course.
