The city of Turku has launched the zoning area of Pihlajaniemi region
on the basis of an application for Senate properties as a landowner in
in 2019. The aim of the change in the position formula is to build in the Pihlajaniemi region
new attraction, marine and related to the surrounding urban structure
urban arrondissement. Pihlajaniemi region is bordered on the west by Hirvensalon
parkway, Lesser northerly and Rykmentintieh to the east.
The premise of the position formula is to create a distinctive and high level in the area
new residential area where special attention is paid to the city of Turku
to effectively increase climate goals and sustainable modes of passage.
The northern part of the planning area is aimed at enabling commercial
services center. In addition to housing and commercial premises, the design area is
also allowed for the implementation of kindergartens and school. Center of the area

footfall routes, which also serve as recreation, maintenance and rescue roads.

On the basis of the spatial formula, an indra master plan has been drawn up for the planning area, which
comprises streets, parks, stormwater and water supply.
Acquisition target
The acquisition concerns the streets, parks and parks of the Pihlajaniemi station formula area
water supply implementation planning.
