Framework contract for catenary work

Abbreviation: Framework agreement catenary

Scope of the service: The BVG catenary network of the tram includes the following types of catenary:

• simple tensioned catenary system,

• Kettenfahrleitung,

• fixed catenary,

• Catenary with rope suspension.

The following services must be provided, e.g.:

• Repair and installation of catenary systems

• Placement of catenary masts

• Changes and adaptation of the catenary to construction conditions (track construction measures)

• Repair and installation of bridge protection

• Establishment of feeds into the catenary network

• Construction of feeds for ancillary systems with protective covers according to work instructions

• Construction and interconnection of signalling systems The delivery and installation of the catenary systems are unscheduled maintenance and fault clearance work with a response time within 2 hours on all days of the year.

The framework agreement volume amounts to approx. 4 million euros for the duration of the term of 36 months (01.01.2024 - 31.12.2026). However, it can be divided into up to 2 different framework contract partners.

The following breakdown is envisaged:

Wirtschaftsteilnehmer 1 - 65% - 2.600.000,00 EUR

Wirtschaftsteilnehmer 2 - 35 % - 1.400.000,00 EUR

The respective target value is not binding and does not give rise to any claim on the part of the framework contract partner to the award of an order. The Contractor undertakes to act within the budget.
