1. The subject matter of the contract is the successive supply of printing and copying equipment, hereinafter referred to as the "devices", and the successive supply of consumables, hereinafter referred to as the "materials", to the University of Gdańsk with the right of option.

1. The subject matter of the contract is the successive supply of printing and copying equipment, hereinafter referred to as the "devices", and the successive supply of consumables, hereinafter referred to as the "materials", to the University of Gdańsk with the right of option.

4. The Contracting Authority may exercise the right of option, consisting in increasing the number of equipment and materials ordered under the basic contract, on the terms and in the manner described below:
1) The Contracting Authority provides for the possibility of commissioning partial contracts to the Contractor under the right of option
within the term of the contract by submitting a written declaration of intent to the Contractor
on the activation of the option containing the specification of the quantity and type of equipment and materials indicated by the Contractor in the subject and price form – Appendix No. 1a to the Terms of Reference.
2) the value of the equipment and materials ordered under the option right will be consistent with the unit prices indicated by the Contractor in the subject and price form – Appendix No. 1a to the Terms of Reference,
3) the exercise of the option right does not constitute an amendment to the contract, the Contractor is not entitled to any claim
in relation to the Contracting Authority, in the event that the Contracting Authority does not exercise the right of option, the decision
on the performance of the contract covered by the option right is a unilateral right of the Ordering Party,
4) the provisions of the draft contract (Annex 5 to the SWZ) concerning the basic contract shall apply to the contract covered by the option right, unless otherwise stipulated.
5. The term "successive delivery" should be understood as the staging of partial orders placed electronically, through the internal procurement system of the University of Gdańsk (the so-called UG store), by individual organisational units of the University of Gdańsk.
6. The place of delivery of the equipment will be dedicated office service points of the organizational units of the University of Gdańsk according to Appendix No. 6 to the Terms of Reference. Therefore, when valuing the offer, the Contractor should take into account the addresses of the points of organizational units indicated by the Contracting Authority
Appendix 6 to the Terms of Reference.
7. The Ordering Party requires a manufacturer's warranty:
(1) printing and copying equipment (described in Tables 1 to 8 of Annex 1a to the Terms of Reference) for a period of
36 months;
2) consumables - shelf life not shorter than 6 months from the date of delivery.
