The association of the Gesundheitszentrum Wetterau gGmbH operates health facilities for inpatient care with a total of around 775 beds at the locations Bad-Nauheim, Friedberg, Schotten and Gedern. The aim of the construction measure is to concentrate the somatic medical services of the Friedberg locations with the Bürgerhospital and the Bad Nauheim location with the Hochwaldkrankenhaus at the Bad Nauheim location. This is to be made possible by adding new buildings and renovating the existing buildings for functional diagnostics, central operating rooms, the preparation of sterile goods, intensive and general care and the parking deck.
