The tender includes two subcontracts for the handling and final disposal of sewage sludge from, respectively. Fredensborg and Nivå treatment plant under Fredensborg Sewage A/S and Melby treatment plant under Halsnæs Spildevand A/S. The value of subcontract A with Fredensborg Sewage is approximately DKK 1.5 million annually, and the value of subcontract B with Halsnæs Sewage is approximately DKK 1.5 million annually. If the subcontracts are extended for a total of 4 years, the total contract total per subcontract will be DKK 6.0 million.

The tendered subcontracts shall enter into force on 1 July 2022 (Subcontract A) and 1 January 2013 (Subcontract B) respectively and expire after two years with the option to extend the contract for 2*one years. The maximum duration of the subcontracts is thus four years. The subcontracts are evaluated separately and awarded on the basis of Best price-quality ratio. The same bidder may be awarded one or both subcontracts.

The service includes the collection and disposal of approximately 3,150 tons/year of sewage sludge in total from Fredensborg and Nivå Renseplant, including:

• Picking up sludge

• Transportation/exit

• Possibly temporary storage

• Agreements with farmers

• Authorization

• Final placement, such as dispersal on agricultural land

The offering includes the pickup and disposal of approximately 3,200 tons/year of sewage sludge from the Melby Treatment Plant, including:

• Picking up sludge

• Transportation/exit

• Possibly temporary storage

• Agreements with farmers

• Authorization

• Final placement, such as dispersal on agricultural land
