As part of the implementation of the 2020 heating strategy, Stadtwerke Greifswald is planning to build a combined heat and power plant and to build an innovative combined heat and power plant (iKWK). As part of the overall project, 2 CHP modules, an electric boiler of approx. 5 MW each in a new building to be erected, a heat storage with 200 MWh capacity and a solar thermal system with approx. 17,000 m 2 Collector area erected. In addition, the project includes a medium-voltage switchgear, transformers for the CHP modules and electric boilers, in-house systems, a cable route for connection to the substation, and the associated control technology for controlling and regulating the new systems, including the connection to the existing systems.

Manufacture of the outside facilities around the CHP building. This includes the manufacture of the streets, paths and green areas, a fire water cistern, oil separator, tank, dirt and rainwater pipes, trenches for other trades and street lighting.
