Certain reservoirs of the demarcation have a high degree of eutrophy. The interest of this contract is especially placed in the reservoirs included in the Special Drought Plan, and in particular the Bellús reservoir has been selected, as they are more vulnerable. The purpose of the contract is to assess whether the fish removal tool, after having previously made the biomass assessment, can be effective as a measure to improve the degree of eutrophy of certain reservoirs in the demarcation. Being a novel method, it is proposed as a pilot experience that can be exported to other reservoirs and shared with other demarcations. At the end of the contract, a report will be obtained with results of the quantity of fish eliminated, as well as the evaluation of the state of the reservoir before the action and after, as far as its eutrophic state is concerned.
