Roofing works:
There are 2 different roof constructions on the building:
- The church building
- The roof over the expansion of the basement (the ceiling is situated underground, green roof)
On the church building there is planned a building roofing layer of asphalt, directly on the roofing boards. This will also function as a vapour barrier. The insulation will be made out of 250 mm mineral wool. The roofing will also be based on asphalt, but must have a white top layer on the basis of architectural considerations.
The roof over the expansion consists of a construction layer of asphalt directly on concrete. This will also act as a vapor barrier. The roof structure is planned as a dual roof or a inverted roof, the insulation is (partly) over a waterproof membrane. For this reason the insulation is made up of XPS. The waterproof membrane is planned as asphalt base and is located between two layers of insulation. The air drop of the membrane is formed by slanted cut isolation. Because of poor elevation the insulation over the membrane must also be cut at a slanted angle.
All of the construction parts located over the last insulating layer is described in the contract "outdoor facilities".
