The client has a well-equipped workshop facility located in connection with Imatran Kiinteistö- ja Aluepalvelu Oy's base at Kertakaari 5. The Customer has the right to carry out maintenance and repair work on the equipment with its own personnel. The service to be procured complements the customer's own resources. If separately agreed, the service provider may work at the customer's repair shop.
The Customer has the right to have maintenance and repair work carried out by a third party during the warranty period of the rolling stock and during service leasing or other financing agreements that include the maintenance and repair of the car. Maintenance and repair of vans and trucks is not included in the service. The service provider procures the spare parts needed for the work.
Work requiring a permit and requiring special expertise is agreed on a case-by-case basis between the client and the service provider. Primarily, the work will be carried out by the service provider now being sought. If the service provider does not have the required permits or expertise to carry out the work, the client is entitled to have the work in question performed by a third party. Licensed or special work includes, for example:
- repair, maintenance and adjustment work of braking systems,
- automotive and machine electrical work
- other work requiring special expertise or official permits
- maintenance and repair of ski tracks
