The primary objective of the project is to eliminate rough sleeping in the local authority areas through positive and assertive engagement with rough sleepers, as well as collecting data, providing support and reconnecting individuals to their areas of origin where appropriate. It is anticipated that at least an outreach worker and team leader/supervisor will be required to carry out the contract. Interested contractors will need to have knowledge and experience of engagement with rough sleepers and outreach and support services and the range of options available to deliver an efficient client-centred approach maximising available resources.
