The object of the award is the deep dredging of the harbour basin by approx. 65 cm i.M. incl. interim storage of the dredged material and the reinforcement of the existing sheet piling wall around the harbour basin by additional permanent grouting anchors (single-anchors). The deepening of the port floor is necessary so that the port of Straubing-Sand can maintain its current status as a port of refuge even after the Danube expansion. The existing sheet piling wall around the harbour basin, which is 1-fold in deadman construction, is statically much more stressed due to the deepening of the harbour floor by 65 cm. Therefore, an additional anchor layer of pressed permanent anchors is required for reinforcement before deep dredging.
The benefits for the overall measure ? Adaptation of straubing-sand shelter? are divided into two lots:
The 1 - Ankerarbeiten
Lot 2 - Dredging work incl. interim storage areas
Anchor workThe project comprises the production of 1097 permanent grouting anchors (single-strand anchors) with variable lengths of approx. 18.50 to 29 m and at a distance of 1.0 m. In order to intervene as little as possible in port operations, the anchors must be manufactured from the water side with the help of pontoons. The anchor heads are located in the Spundwandtal, a strap is not required.
NassbaggerarbeitenAfter the production of the new grouting anchors, the entire harbour basin on its total area of approx. 70,300 m2 is to be dredged deeper by i.M. approx. 65 cm using the dredging process. Due to existing sediment accumulations, excavation to a greater depth must also be dredged in some areas For the interim storage of the dredged material (a total of approx. 50,000 m3) for the purpose of drying out and debris sampling, interim storage areas must be prepared separately according to homogeneous areas on the port site and restored to the original state after the end of construction. For the access roads to the interim storage areas, construction roads must be created and dismantled by the Contractor. Depending on the sampling result, the dredged material must be installed or disposed of as terrain fillings according to the Client's instructions.
