Lørenskog Municipality, c/o the Child Welfare Service, would like to procure assistance for milieu therapeutic work aimed at youths aged 14-18 years.

The contract will be a supplement to the offer provided by the child welfare services and other means of support in the municipality, and close cooperation is expected between the parties.

Lørenskog Municipality aims to be a safe municipality in which to raise all children and youth. Arrangements are being made for a broad youth initiative in the coming years. Broad youth initiative deals with securing good youth environments where youth thrive, and with the lowest possible criminality, substance abuse and other problems.

The goal is that every youth receives the correct help as early as possible in order to achieve a good life situation with permanent changes and growth. There is a clear goal that the measure will help prevent youths being placed in institutions.

The aim of the contract is the further development of ongoing work aim at youths who are at risk. There is a need for a tailored measure for the target group that can provide visible results on the criminal statistics. There are strict requirements concerning such measures.

It is decisive that the chosen tenderer has personnel that have particular competence within cultural diversity, as well as a good overview of the youth milieus in Lørenskog and the surrounding area.
