LED illuminant IC2020

Today the IC2000 form the backbone of the IC fleet of long-distance traffic SBB. Due to the long-term intended use in IC traffic, a modernization and thus alignment with changing customer needs and a contemporary appearance is required. Under the project name "Project IC2020", the IC2000 fleet will be comprehensively modernized as part of an overall project.

The lighting for the IC2000 fleet is to be converted to energy-saving LED technology. For this purpose, the following existing fluorescent tubes are to be replaced by LED bulbs:

- fluorescent tubes T8 according to EN 60081, length 895 mm,

- Fluorescent tubes T8 according to EN 60081 in length 590 mm.
