Tipperary Education and Training Board on behalf of the Board of Management of St. Joseph’s College invites tenders for full Quantity Surveying consultancy services for Additional Accommodation Scheme at St. Joseph’s College, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary, Roll Number 65241N as set out in the Brief Formulation Report and Schedules of Accommodation enclosed with this notice. The project will comprise: new build permanent additional accommodation comprising a two classroom SEN Base in accordance with the brief, links & associated works to existing building, car-parking, set-down and all associated site & ancillary works. The project also comprises the delivery of interim temporary accommodation with associated ancillary works. The Services are to be provided in accordance with the Department of Education’s Design Team Procedures and associated Practice Notes and DoES Schedule of Stage Services for Construction Consultants. The Consultant will form part of a full design team.

The Services are to be provided in accordance with the Department of Education’s Design Team Procedures and associated Practice Notes and DoES Schedule of Stage Services for Construction Consultants. The Consultant will form part of a full design team (comprising of individual appointed Consultants as follows: Architect, Civil & Structural Engineer, Building Services (M&E) Engineer, Quantity Surveyor and Project Supervisor Design Process). The approximate area of the site is approx. 1.18 Hectares. Refer to the enclosed Brief Formulation Report document for further details. NOTE: Tipperary Education and Training Board’s engagement on this project extends to the appointment of the Design Team only. The responsibility for the delivery and completion of the project will revert to the Board of Management of St. Joseph’s College and the Department of Education.
