The purpose of this work contract is the conversion of the Justin Peeters Stadium, the former stadium of the Racing Jet de Wavre, into a high-level hockey infrastructure.
A world-class hockey field will be built there, with a lighting system that meets the most demanding standards of the International Hockey Federation.
The existing grandstand will be completely renovated and will be completed by new bleachers on the other side of the field, to reach a capacity of about 4000 seats.
Consideration will be given to the possibility of increasing the capacity of the stadium with temporary facilities, in the event of a large-scale international event.
This public works contract, aims to designate a general construction company, for the realization of the main works necessary for this purpose, including the laying of land strictly meeting the specifications referred to in the technical part and the installation of the dedicated and specific lighting required.

Works contract for the project “Renovation project of an existing regional soccer stadium into a hockey stadium with field and lighting meeting the standards of the International Hockey Federation”.
Location of the service and associated works: Sports Complex of Wavre “Justin Peeters Stadium”, avenue du Centre Sportif, 20 to 1300 Wavre, currently registered Wavre 2nd Division Section G No. 345E3, 345F3 E and 345Y.
The works contract is composed of:
• Renovation work on the existing grandstand building and its envelope;
• The creation of two lateral extensions (a fitness area and two public sanitary areas) both with terrace;
• Extending the existing grandstand to the field;
• The creation of bleachers on the embankment in front of the existing grandstand;
• The layout of the surrounding area, including covered bicycle spaces;
• Work on the layout of the synthetic hockey field (meeting the standards of the International Hockey Federation);
• Its lighting;
• The installation of an LED screen;
• The installation of a camera system.
