As part of the implementation of the Heat Strategy 2020, Stadtwerke Greifswald is planning the construction of a combined heat and power plant and the construction of an innovative combined heat and power plant (CHP). As part of the overall project, two CHP modules, one electric boiler of approximately 5 MW el. In a new building to be built, a heat storage with 200 MWh capacity and a solar thermal system with approximately 17 000 m 2 Collector area built. In addition, the project includes a medium-voltage switchgear, transformers for the cogeneration modules and e-boilers, self-supply systems, a cable route for connection to the substation and the associated control technology for controlling and regulating the new plants including the connection to the existing plants.
