The demand for water from the business community within Kalundborg Municipality will increase in the coming years. To meet this demand, Kalundborg Utility must increase water abstraction. Based on this, there is b.la. initiated a source site project, where approximately 18 wells are expected to be established (incl. 3 exployed drillings that are under construction). The subject of this tender is these 15 water wells. In order to ensure the necessary water treatment capacity, a new waterworks will be built in parallel with the Kildeplads project and raw water pipes will be built from the source sites to the waterworks.
