Hybrid PNT Study (HybPNT): LEO Constellations, 5G, HAPS and GNSS Integration

The European Commission is launching studies on the potential use of LEO constellations data in complement with or integrated with other upcoming PNT solutions and/or with GNSS services. In this context, high altitude pseudo satellites (HAPS) and 5G based PNT are considered as most relevant technologies in the new paradigm of Internet of Things (IoT) and good candidate interesting for a hybridisation with space-based PNT (being either from GNSS or LEO-PNT systems).
