The construction name includes the roofing work of the Meranti Hall in the all-weather zoo Münster.
These are different roof surfaces at different heights.
The roofing work is divided into two lots.
Lot 1 — attachments:
A plastic waterproofing is to be laid loose on the reinforced concrete slabs of the extensions and mechanically fixed into the reinforced concrete slab through the slope insulation with a line fastening. Lateral connections to the top hall wall must be made.
Lot 2 - Conference:
The conference consists of two roof systems. The ceiling over the conference room is a steel trapezoidal ceiling. The ceilings of the main entrance and ancillary rooms as well as the elevator shaft are a reinforced concrete floor. The plastic roofing membranes are laid loose on all roofs and mechanically fixed into the reinforced concrete slab or steel trapezoidal profiles substrates through the slope insulation using a line fastening.
The designs of the flat roofs of the building groups have extensive similarities. All the roofs of the annexes and the conference building are provided with thermal insulation that is loosely laid on a slope. It consists of a lower layer with d = 50 mm, the upper layer of slope insulation with d = 90 to 310 mm.
The thermal insulation material is expanded polystyrene foam boards. The insulation made of EPS has a tight impact and is to be laid loosely in a bandage.
The elastomer bitumen vapor barrier membrane is welded to the reinforced concrete slab on a bitumen primer.
Over the thermal insulation, the roof waterproofing is loosely laid on the basis of modified polyolefin FPO and mechanically fixed with a line fastening.
In the transition to the vertically rising walls, the EPS thermal insulation is mechanically attached or glued. A connecting web is raised to it and glued over the entire surface and welded to the horizontal roof waterproofing and composite sheet.
Skylights with GRP top wreaths are mounted on the reinforced concrete ceilings of the extensions. The skylights have to be controlled individually for the ventilation function. In addition to the ventilation task, the skylights on the conference building also fulfil the RWA function.
The design, including all connections, connection profiles, composite plates, base rails, mounting profiles, seals, cover and molded parts, etc. must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Conference building north-east:
The roof of the conference is divided into three roof areas:
1. Roof over main entrance conference, foyer and function rooms 2. Roof over conference rooms 3. Roof over elevator shaft.
The FPO roofing membranes are laid loose on all roofs and mechanically fixed to the reinforced concrete slab or steel trapezoidal profiles substrates through the slope insulation using a line fastening. The steel trapezoidal profiles are installed above the conference rooms.
Subsequent vertical walls of building parts and attics are provided with mechanically fixed or glued thermal insulation. A connecting web is raised to it and glued over the entire surface and welded to the subsequent components.
The attic covers are fitted with wooden wedges and thermal insulation in between as well as OSB boards running through them as standard. The Attic sheet covers are to be screwed onto the OSB plates.
The roof drainage of all surfaces above the conference building is carried out by inlets installed vertically through the ceiling. Rainwater drainage is done through internal downpipes.
Roof lights have an RWA function to fulfill as a group. The rooflights are individually controlled for ventilation purposes.
attachments:
All roof surfaces have the same structure. A vapor barrier is welded on the bitumen primer on the reinforced concrete slabs.
The FPO roofing sheets are loosely laid on the slope insulation and mechanically bolted to the reinforced concrete slab using a line fastening through the insulation.
Vertical walls of subsequent building parts and attics are covered with mechanically fixed or glued thermal insulation. An FPO connection membrane is raised and fully glued to it and welded to the horizontal roofing membranes and composite sheets.
The attic covers are provided as standard with wooden wedges and thermal insulation in between and OSB wood boards running over them. Sheet metal covers of the attic are to be mounted on baffle plates, bolted to the OSB plate.
The roof drainage is carried out at the respective slope lows by gully. These are to be led through the attic on a gradient. The manure pots with sealing flange are to be welded to the roofing membranes according to manufacturer specifications. Pipe bends connect the ducted pipes of the gullies to the downpipes.
