In the years 2023 and 2024, the meetings of TC 322 and TC 207 as well as the working groups at ISO will take place. For this purpose, the preparation and follow-up procedures are to be presented and UBA is to be represented in the meetings.

The international standards organization (ISO) will continue to expand the standards on the subject of sustainable finance in the future. Technical Committee 322 Sustainable Finance (TC 322) is currently developing a family of standards on sustainable finance. On the German side, DIN e. V. has a Working Committee on Sustainable Finance, in which the processes are accompanied in a bundled manner.

The topic of sustainable finance is extremely important for the Federal Environment Agency, as the environmental and financial spheres interact directly with each other in this area. The Federal Environment Agency therefore participates in the above-mentioned working groups and activities. The results of current research projects can also be incorporated into the standardization activities.

The project is divided into 3 work packages. The results of the individual work steps are to be documented and presented electronically:

- Work package 1 - Participation in TC 322 and the accompanying working groups

- Work package 2 - Participation in TC 207 and the accompanying working groups

- Work package 3 - Participation in the DIN working group

The contract will initially be awarded for a period until 31.12.2024. There is the option of two extensions of 12 months each, until 31.12.2026 at the latest.
