Comprehensive service of goods and sea transport to/from the Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station in the seasons 2023/24, 2024/25, 2025/26 with additional services (transport of people, small shipments and containers on the way to/from the Polish Antarctic Station)
The term "Comprehensive handling of goods and sea transport to/from the Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station in the seasons 2023/24, 2024/25, 2025/26 together with additional services (transport of people, small shipments and containers on the way to/from the Polish Antarctic Station)" shall be understood as:
a) /Cargo handling in the area of loading and unloading of expedition goods/ includes providing warehouses, receiving, unloading, storing and confectioning (unit packaging and palletizing) of goods and preparing goods for loading in Poland and South Africa (Cape Town), Chile (Punta Arenas) and other South American ports on the route of the expedition ship.
b) /Container handling/ includes the rental of containers with valid certificates entitling to sea transport, loading and stowage of containers in Poland and in South Africa (Cape Town), Chile (Punta Arenas) and other South American ports on the route of the expedition ship.
c) /Maritime transport service/ includes agency services for the expedition ship, cargo and passengers in ports in Poland, South Africa and South America and in the cruise (all activities related to the arrival, berthing and departure of the ship, ensuring loading and reloading, issuing bills of lading, payment of all fees related to the ship's call at the port and transport of cargo and passengers).
The provisions of Article 201 207 of the Act of 18 September 2001 shall apply accordingly to the activities undertaken by the Contractor related to the comprehensive service of the ship. Maritime Code (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 66, of 2018, item 650.) concerning agency services. Port service of passengers in the ports of embarkation and disembarkation of expedition members (ports in Poland and South Africa, South America, Argentina, Chile, Falkland Islands). Supervising the placement of goods on board and providing supercargo services on an expedition ship.
d) /Passenger transport/ includes comprehensive arrangement of passenger transport on the indicated routes (including: booking and purchase of air and bus tickets, arrangement of passenger and luggage transport between the port and airports, etc., providing accommodation, quick and flexible response (changes in reservations) to changes in the dates of return of persons resulting from the ship timetable, agency service during the journey, providing an interpreter). In the case of air transport, it is required to purchase seafarers' air tickets with the possibility of changing the date many times free of charge (as far as free seats on the plane) and the possibility of taking 2 pieces of 46 kg baggage in total (2x23 kg) and cabin luggage in the ticket price.
e) /Transport of small shipments/ includes a comprehensive arrangement of transport of small shipments (up to 100 kg) on indicated routes with delivery to an expedition ship or other means of transport on the way to or from the Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station.
f) /Container transport/ includes a comprehensive arrangement of container transport on the indicated routes with delivery to an expedition ship or other means of transport on the way to or from the Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station. Additional services include: loading goods on the ship, arranging customs, border, port, sanitary clearance, etc. Destination ports on the ship's route to and from the Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station in Africa (South Africa) and South America (Argentina, Chile, Falkland Islands).
