The Evangelische Krankenhaus Oberhausen GmbH (EKO) is an acute care hospital with 452 beds under the auspices of ATEGRIS. More than 1,000 employees care for more than 20,000 inpatients and 50,000 outpatients every year. With 13 specialist clinics, four institutes and five certified centres and the SPC, the hospital covers almost the entire spectrum of state-of-the-art medicine and care, thus guaranteeing the entire range of care from a single source. In order to modernize its care infrastructure, EKO intends to expand and convert the children's clinic Haus F on the site at Virchowstraße 20 in 46047 Oberhausen. The subject of the tender is the dismantling of 2 existing conveyor systems and the construction of a new bed elevator for the extension of Haus F.
Building F on the grounds of the EKO contains a children's clinic. The construction project concerns the structural extension and conversion of building F.
The present award unit includes the electrical installation of level F1 of wing B from component F. This will begin immediately and be completed by March 2024.
The bill of quantities contains ALL electrical systems required for this renovation with the exception of nurse calls and fire alarm systems. Parts of stations have to be adapted during operation, and line renovations have to be accompanied electrically. Subsequently, central offices of all kinds are adapted and partially rebuilt.
The electrical system contains the complete, hospital-standard electrical installation and, in small parts, its IT protection measure. Then all necessary telecommunications equipment and the cabling for fire alarm and nurse call are included. In many cases, the technical concerns of the stock must be taken into account and supplemented or renewed by using existing manufacturers.
In addition to the necessary adaptations to the existing building, the complete energy feed-in, including GHV, distribution and cabling, is part of the construction project. Lighting fixtures are adapted to today's standard LED. The usual hospital telecommunications technology is completely included with VOIP, EDP and smaller system components.
