4480 building automation

In the Department of Macromolecular Chemistry at the University of Freiburg, a technical and fire protection renovation is being carried out.

The building automation renovation includes the replacement of existing switchgear, including outdated PRV controllers made by Siemens, with new, manufacturer-neutral BACnet controllers via BACnet protocol in accordance with the University of Freiburg's Guideline for Technical Systems for Building Automation (RitA-GA).

The conversion will be carried out in sections, during ongoing operation. Temporary arrangements are planned to maintain the operation of the most important facilities. A 24/7 on-call service with on-site presence within 2 hours of the contractor is required.

A total of approx. 2250 hardware data points, spread over 11 automation/information focal points and a total of 22 control cabinet panels, as well as the cabling of the building automation with approx. 33,000 m of cable and the installation of the cable trays within the technical centres with approx. 200 m will be built or renewed.

In addition, the connection to the existing management level, made by Siemens Desigo Insight, is part of the tender.

In addition, the award of 'maintenance services' is the subject of the procedure.
