A3, junction Siebengebirge to junction Bad Honnef/Linz, complete repair, section V incl. noise abatement here: Soil survey section

The rehabilitation area of the A3 motorway section V begins at km 34+160 in the direction of travel (FR) Frankfurt and at km 34+950 in FR Cologne, near the Siebengebirge junction and ends at km 41+270 south of the Bad-Honnef/ Linz junction (end of the merging drive in FR Frankfurt or start of the exit strip in FR Cologne). The length of the line to be rehabilitated in FR Frankfurt is approx. 7.1 km, and in FR Cologne approx. 6.3 km. In the course of the complete rehabilitation of the A3 (junction Heumar (m) -AS Bad Honnef-Linz (m)), section V connects to the section iV in its northern area.

The following main services for the preparation of the documents must be provided:

-Research to clarify the boundary conditions

-Preparation of a drill and sounding program for the roadway survey

• Preparation of an investigation program for the laboratory and field tests and the chemical analyzers as well as the corresponding VOB tender

-Technical supervision of sampling and digestion work (approx. 3 months) as well as the execution of the VOB contract

-Identification and evaluation of samples

-Preparation of a route report in the form of geotechnical reports according to DIN 4020 for the existing route and ancillary areas

Expert reports on the overpass and underpass structures, as well as the noise barriers, are not part of this tender.

The execution of the required services should be completed by mid-2024.
