Technical services. The UK Military Aviation Authority (MAA) has a requirement to conduct in the region of 70 Design Approved Organization Scheme (DAOS) and Maintenance Approved Organization Scheme (MAOS) Audits per calendar year. These Audits will consist of both Initial and Surveillance activities and will be based within the UK and EU. A design approval consists of an assessment of a company's competence to meet Aviation Design and Maintenance requirements for the MoD.

The Contractor will be required to asses organizations for compliance with MAA regulatory publications (MRP) with reference to the applicable Regulatory Articles (RA) ie 1000, 4800-4825 and 5100 series, DEFSTANs 00-56, 05-57, 05-123 (now obsolescent) and the organizations QMS. The Contractor must hold UKAS accreditation or equivalent and hold or be able to obtain applicable Security Clearances. The winning contractor will conform with ISC/IEC 17021:2011 or an acceptable equivalent.
