The school association is planning the renovation of the listed Valentin-Ickelsamer-Mittelschule in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The subject matter of the award procedure are the services for technical building equipment according to Part 4, Section 2, HOAI 2021 for plant groups 1 to 8 of work phases 5 to 9 as well as special services.
The subject of the award procedure are the services for technical building equipment according to Part 4, paragraph 2 HOAI 2021 of ALG 1 to 8 of LPH 5 to 9, together with special services. It can be assumed that the existing facilities will be completely dismantled and completely reequipped. The Valentin-Ickelsamer-Mittelschule was built in the 70s and forms with the Reichsstadt-Gymnasium u. Sportanlagen und -hallen a school center on the southern outskirts of the city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. With its equipment, design, spacious outdoor and sports areas as well as an upstream parking and bus stop, the school centre is of special quality and is subject to copyright protection. Copyright must therefore also be taken into account for the planning of the technical equipment. The building is essentially a reinforced concrete skeleton construction with the technical rooms in a basement with only a partial basement. The distribution of the supply is thus only possible via the normal floors. On the floors, as in the existing buildings, light partition walls with skylight glazing and partly also full glazing are to be expected, so that the arrangement of climbing routes must also be selected. The central auditorium on the ground floor is covered with a parquet covering worth preserving, so that the bypass of this area with supply lines will also have to be examined. The room heights and the architectural design allow only limited suspension of the ceilings so that for larger supply cross-sections (ventilation) a visible installation is to be considered. On a slight slope, the school was built on two levels, which meet in a central two-storey auditorium and separate the school into an east and a west wing. All technical rooms and a workroom are located in a partial basement. Both the east and west wings have, in addition to the main staircase in the auditorium, a second staircase for access. The ground floor is larger in its extent than the 1.0G and with the 2.0G in the east wing several boundaries are created upwards, all of which are designed as flat roofs. The basis for the renovation is compliance with all current guidelines on heat, sound and fire protection as well as all current technical guidelines and the necessary renewal of all technical systems. The flat roof waterproofing must be completely dismantled and redesigned. The steel-glass facades can no longer be used and must also be renewed. The light partition walls should not meet any sound or fire protection and should also be renewed. This makes it possible to take into account modern pedagogical spatial concepts, whereby the central auditorium is to be preserved in its dimension. The ventilation of the rooms must first be examined and the full equipment with IT goes without saying. The general renovation thus includes extensive gutting and enables a complete redesign, which, as already mentioned, must be coordinated not only with the client but also with the copyright holder. In doing so, the requirements of monument protection must always be taken into account. Currently, the planning is in the HOAI service phase 4. In addition to the continuation of the planning from Lph 5, a plausibility check of the existing planning services of Lph 3 and 4 as an optional service is the subject of the order. The assignment is carried out in stages.
