The subject of this award procedure is the construction of a new 400 m long transhipment bank for the scrap island in the port of Duisburg, on the southern shore of dock basin B, as a complete service at a fixed flat rate.

The content of this award procedure is the construction of a new 400 m long transhipment bank for the scrap island in the port of Duisburg, on the southern shore of dock basin B, consisting of the following services, among others:

- technical processing by drawing up the necessary project, execution and workshop drawings and carrying out all work related to the design processing, including surveying and levelling,

-Delivery of all materials, including all necessary ancillary services as well as the procurement and provision of all equipment and machines for the execution of the construction project,

-Site facilities

-Baustellensicherheit,

-design of the bank enclosure,

-verification methods for bank enclosures,

-Uferdeckwerk.

Due to the planned restructuring of the operating procedures by the current tenant and operator of the scrap island, a ship loading system is planned in the neighbouring shore area, so that there is also a need for a new transshipment bank.

Therefore, the Contractor must install a new 400m sheet pile wall in this transhipment area directly parallel to the old sheet pile wall and provide it with piles integrated into the sheet pile.

The drawings available to the Client only include all necessary execution drawings for an originally planned 150 m long bank. These drawings are to be reworked or extended by 250 m by the Contractor for a 400 m long bank according to the site plan.

The services must be complete so that they include all the work, parts and equipment required for a functional and reliable installation.

The following service items (not relevant for valuation) are optionally priced:

-construction of the embankment wall in two sections,
