Promotion of community work
The city of Kelsterbach is located in the metropolitan region of Frankfurt/RheinMain and has about 18,000 inhabitants. With the inclusion of the "Mainhöhe" district in the federal-state funding programme "Social Cohesion", the most important foundation stone was laid to counteract the negative development in the area. The project objectives and service description refer to the fulfilment of the requirements in accordance with the promotion of community work in districts/ districts with special social and integration policy challenges by the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration. The basis is the funding application of 12.10.2020, see Appendix Application Forms II and III, and the grant decision of 19.03.2021. The new "Guideline for the Promotion of Community Work in Districts/Districts with Special Social and Integration Challenges" of 19.11.2019 was published on 02.12.2019 in the State Gazette (No. 49/2019, p.1245ff.); these must be taken into account.
In addition, the project manager of the overall measure of the urban development promotion program of the community work together with the city of Kelsterbach and for the city of Kelsterbach is authorized to issue instructions. The community work supports the project management in the planning and implementation of the projects and measures for the participation and activation of the residents of the district on site.

- Consolidation of urban development support measures beyond the funding period

- Cooperation with project management/management of urban development funding
- Implementation of activating participation measures in coordination with the project management
- Establishment of new volunteer structures in the district (SuPraStadt)
- Establish educational opportunities for children and young people in the district
- Establishment of a district committee (disposition fund)
- Activation of children and young people in the neighbourhood
- Implementation of an annual summer party / summer picnic, stabilization of this.
