Nord-Fron municipality has entered into a contract with Åge Haverstad AS in the call for tenders for contract E02 for the project Flood Prevention Givra
Nord-Fron kommune (Nord-Fron Municipality) will flood/erosion proof the Givra river. Givra is located on the west side of Gudbrandsdalslågen and runs through the Sødorp community, west of central Vinstra, in Innlandet County.
The flood prevention works is divided into three partial stretches and three contracts along the watercourse. This contract (E02) includes Part 2, the central section of the stretch from upstream Skåbuvegen and down to upstream Sundheimsvegen.
E02 includes the last partial stretch, and completes the new river course between partial stretch one and three. The river course in partial stretch two runs through the future Vinstra Park, and contract E02 therefore includes a part of the preparatory works for Vinstra Park.
Contract E02 includes i.a.
— new concrete culvert through Skåbuvegen and Gamle Skåbuvegen, altogether approx. 85 m. Partially cast in-situ, partially prefab
— erosion prevention of approx. 390 m spillway from downstream Gamle Skåbuvegen and to upstream Sundheimsvegen, as well as minor part of upstream Skåbuvegen,
— new approach to Vinstrahallen, from Skåbuvegen and new parking places at Vinstrahallen,
— various works for parks and gardens around Vinstrahallen,
— new footbridge over Givra in Vinstra Park,
— reconstruction of water and sewage through the entire partial stretch,
— reconstruction of cables, in cooperation with cable agencies,
— various options for works and deliveries associated with late completion of Vinstra Park.
A number of option items are described, in addition, it can be relevant to have additional orders for special equipment and works with planned playgrounds.

Commencement of the contact is set at March 2021 with completion during 2021.
As contractual provisions, NS 8406 applies with the corrections in part II — Tender Documentation, point B.2 — B.4.
