The city of Göttingen intends to renovate the existing, listed outdoor pool on Brauweg and make it more attractive.
All pools are to be fundamentally revised.
This includes the dismantling of all outdoor paving surfaces, the removal of all overflow channels, the removal of the film lining, demolition of the pool heads. The bathing water technology must be largely renewed and partially revised. All basins receive new stainless steel gutters and a new foil lining. The non-swimmer pool West will be converted into a children's pool. The walk-through basins will be demolished and replaced by barrier-free walk-through troughs. The entire bathing water technology is renewed and a new rainwater drainage pipe is laid. The existing large slide, as well as the historic diving tower are to be preserved and protected during the construction project. The existing children's pool will be partially demolished and converted into a dry playground. After completion of the pools, the paving areas will be provided with new coverings and the transitions to the higher sunbathing lawn will be revised in landscape planning. The shore areas of the leine are opened on both sides and integrated into the bathing operation as a nature experience space. The two Leineufer connected with a new play suspension bridge. At the same time, the entrance building is being renovated in accordance with monument regulations. The processes of the two separate construction projects must be coordinated with each other in such a way that no hindrances arise.

This tender includes the external pipes for sewage and rainwater, including the inspection shafts for the drainage pipes of the outdoor pool. This involves the construction of the new waste water network and the rainwater drainage outside the
Entrance building, from one meter before the outer edge of the building. The drainage of the outdoor pool takes place in accordance with DIN 1986-100 in the separation system. So far, the drainage of the swimming pools, the walk-through pools, the filter flushing
and the surface drainage into the line. This is currently no longer desirable in this form, which is why the drainage of the mentioned components are completely replanned in the course of the renovation. In 2018, the sanitary facilities in the entrance building were already renovated. In the course of this, the basic pipes were also renovated and a sewage lifting system in the Brauweg (in the north of the outdoor pool) was added. The waste water pipes are to be connected to this basic pipe.
The sludge water from the filter flushing of the concrete filters in the technical building is collected in a
Sludge water tank (flushing wastewater tank) is retained and is to be drained to the north via a lifting system in the future. To this line between the
Sludge water tanks and the SW14 shaft will replace the shower trough 2 and the
Sewage connection from the workshop connected. The shower troughs 1, 3 and 4, the channel switching of the surge water channels, the overflow of the splash water tanks and the drainage from the pump cellar and the pump shaft are connected via a further pipe on the SW14.
In addition to the connection of the waste water pipes to the SW 14 shaft, the drainage of shower troughs 5 and 6 under the building leads via the SW08 to the existing shaft SW11.1. This line is also used to drain the kiosk toilet and the first aid room of the entrance building. This tender also includes the connection to the currently existing pipelines for draining the swimming pools.
The rainwater downpipes of the buildings will be laid on site and are to be connected by the contractor to the newly laid drainage pipes. The existing soil drains for the surface drainage of the farm will be renewed and connect to the drainage of the rainwater.
The rainwater drainage is led to the line to the existing inlet structure and is to be connected to it.
The underground pipes of the sewage and rainwater drainage are carried out in PP Rohr - KG 2000. All pipelines must be professionally closed during assembly work and permanently marked.
DIN 1986-100 requires a cleaning opening in basic lines at least every 20 m. For straight distances up to DN 150, the distance between the cleaning openings can be extended to 40 m. Concrete shafts are provided for the cleaning openings. The excavation is carried out on site while the insertion and fastening work is carried out by the contractor.
