Description:
Path study for a future-proof public transport system on its own path and implementation of accompanying studies

A basic study was commissioned to develop a future-proof public transport system in Kiel (see www.kiel.de/mobil). The next planning step will be the route study. As part of this, the BRT and Tram systems are to be examined in greater depth in the context of possible routes within the urban corridors. Reliable knowledge should be gained in order to determine the system with the most advantages for Kiel and a preferred network, for which further planning phases are then commissioned. A system definition is to be made as part of the train path study at the end of 2022 at the latest. In addition to this planning service, a simplified standardized assessment of investment in public transport in a separate lot will be put out to tender.

Trassierungsstudie

Procurement is described in the list of services (Document 05, Appendix C, Part A). The state capital of Kiel expects that in addition to the information requested in the annexes, information will also be provided on how the bidder will proceed methodically and practically when processing the required services, which data and information he will use and which aspects will be taken into account. The offer consists of a part to be submitted in writing with concepts for the following milestones:

1. Concept for project organization

2. Concept for the first variant stratification

3. Concept for the possible provisional system definition

4. Concept for defining the preferred network and a first commissioning stage

5. Concept for adopting the results of the cost-benefit analysis

6. Concept for defining the preferred network

7. Concept of public relations and visualizations

The initial offer is to be presented; the presentation should show the processing procedure based on the initial offer. The concepts presented (1 to 7) and the presentation are included in the qualitative evaluation of the offer (see II.2.5)).

The concept presented and the presentation are included in the qualitative evaluation of the offer.
