Peel Ports aims to award a framework agreement to a single successful tenderer for the provision of Services to undertake and report on an exhaustive drainage clearance, survey and condition assessment of the existing private drainage networks on the Peel Ports Group Estates.
A recent environmental audit has identified a need to update business records of Peel Ports Group (PPG) drainage infrastructure.
There is an accountability to understand and define where all site drainage, whether that be PPG controlled or tenant controlled, starts and discharges and how it is conveyed (pipe network and infrastructure).
The surveys should account for all surface water, foul and combined sewerage, both gravity and pumped, including all associated drainage infrastructure.
This requirement should also follow through to produce a clear drainage plan for the business entities going forward.

To ensure this is achieved the following must take place:
— initial site visit to conduct a preliminary survey on the manholes across the estate, establishing a program of works, including instructing minor civil works to free any manholes that pose an issue,
— exhaustive drainage survey,
— 2D Autocad drawings for each site,
— conditioning report.
