The Ministry of Defence is looking to replace its current fleet of MA2-30A High Altitude Parachutists Altimeter. The replacement quantity of 320, must meet the following criteria:

1. Visual Altimeter that can be worn on the wrist and be adapted for Navigation Plate Mounting.

2. Minimum cleared Operating Altitude of 25 000 feet.

3. Analogue facia with Asymmetric Scale and Single Sweep pointer.

4. Operating Temperature of -35 to +80 degrees.

5. Electroluminescent lighting of the dial facia.

6. Waterproof.

7. Capable of manual or automatic (remote) adjustment of local/DZ elevation.

Replacement of obsolete Parachutists Altimeters.
