Lot 1 — Support for young people dealing with stress.
The service will aim to deliver support to the young people with emotional
health needs related to stress and anxiety below the threshold for Tier Two
CAMHS services across Richmond and Kingston. For young people who meet the threshold for Tier Two support, they will be
eligible for support from Achieving for Children's (AfC's) Emotional Health Service. At Tier 3, services will
be provided by South West London and St Georges, Child and Adolescent
Mental Health Services (CAMHs).
AfC is seeking to provide a service for young people, and potentially their
families, to ensure that low level mental health concerns, particularly those
which are stress related, are met by the service to prevent any escalation.
The objective will be to provide young people, across both boroughs, with
ways of coping with stress to ensure a good level of emotional well-being. A
further objective will be to ensure that the parents are engaged with the
counselling and are aware of their own behaviour, particularly in relation to
exam stress.
Lot 2 — young people dealing with bereavement or significant loss
Achieving for Children is seeking a support service for children and young
people who live in Kingston or Richmond who are suffering from bereavement
or significant loss. The objective is to support young people through a
traumatic and turbulent period of their lives and provide young people with
ways of coping with the loss they feel.
Expressions of interest and electronic tender documents are available on the London Tenders Portal (http://www.londontenders.org), Project Id DN164737.
