Description:
Pilot project 1 tropical hall - window and door work - tropical hall in the all-wetterzoo Münster

Windows and doors are installed in reinforced concrete, masonry or drywall walls in the tropical hall, the annexes and the conference building. All buildings are equipped with an EIFS. The doors in the tropical hall and the extensions are steel doors and the windows are aluminium frame windows.

In the conference building, the exterior doors are made of steel and aluminium glass doors. According to the requirements of the rooms, interior doors are steel doors, aluminium-glass frame doors or wooden doors. All windows are made from an aluminium-glass frame construction.

The walls of the extensions as the installation location of the doors and windows are predominantly made of reinforced concrete. In some places there are interior walls made of brickwork.

The outside walls of the conference building are made of reinforced concrete. Interior walls are made of reinforced concrete, brickwork or drywall.

The door frames and window frames must be attached to the respective wall construction materials.

All buildings are equipped with an ETICS on the outside. Plaster insulation is applied to the wall surfaces and on the reveals and is guided to the frames and frames.

The plaster finishing profiles of the window sills must be drawn inwards on the drip side (see detailed drawing). With this, the external wall insulation can be carried out without incisions through the plaster finishing profiles closed.

Attaches: The steel doors are fixed in the reinforced concrete and masonry walls in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The different requirements for doors, such as fire protection requirements, escape route suitability, etc., are described in the service items. This results in requirements for seals, locking devices and additional equipment such as glazing elements.

Aluminum frame windows are to be thermally separated. The functions such as turn/tilt or tilt only, mechanically or electrically motor-operated, are noted in the service items.

The 2-leaf sliding doors on the visitor paths are to be installed in front of the walls. Mounting constructions, cladding and securing of secondary closing edges are to be installed as part of the complete services.

Conference building northeast: exterior doors are made of steel and aluminium glass doors. Certain doors have panels next to the door leaves in which operating and functional elements are installed.

Requirements for building physics, fire protection, escape route requirements and functional reasons are defined in the service items.

Windows as aluminum-glass frame structures are to be fixed in the soffits. The soffit insulation is guided onto the frame. The window sills have different outloads due to the different façade structures.

According to the requirements of the rooms, interior doors are steel doors, aluminium-glass frame doors or wooden doors. Interior doors in the sanitary rooms are not the subject of this specification. They are supplied and installed with the partitions.
