The contracting authority for the contest is Agder County and 13 municipalities in the Agder region, hereafter called the contracting authority/customer. The contracting authority is represented y Agder County in this contest.
The municipalities in Agder have spent many years working on developing a future orientated and robust broadband. Most of the work has been channelised through the project Det Digitale Agder [The Digital Agder]. As a result of the contract from 2007 on 'right of digital public access', there has been a large development of infrastructure. This was a temporary contract, and there were low requirements for speed, when seen in relation to current expectations.
In 2022, the project Det Digitale Agder (the Digital Agder), together with several municipalities, have prepared proposals for development projects, which qualify for state support schemes.
