Sub-area 1 "Transshipment, packaging and recycled paper" is mandatory to submit tenders against, however, sub-area 2 "Food and residual waste" is not mandatory to submit tenders against.
From 2024-01-01, Nodra will take over responsibility for the collection of packaging from households and co-located operations. The initial need for a transshipment station is to receive and handle packaging waste from apartment buildings and recycling stations, but that this will be expanded to also include packaging from small households.

Extent
The procurement concerns two tender areas for reception, interim storage and loading for off-site transport of packaging waste (Sub-area 1) and residual and food waste (Sub-area 2). Tenders shall be submitted in Subfield 1. Sub-area 2 is not mandatory. Bidders that also bid against sub-axis 2 will receive value-added points in the evaluation (see section 3.11).
Please note that the scope of the assignment is only estimated and applies without commitment, the volumes are based on statistics from the previous year.

Ceiling volume sub-area 1
The customer estimates its total need for services covered by the framework agreement sub-area 1 to SEK 12,000,000. This constitutes the roof volume of the sub-area. If the turnover of the sub-area reaches the ceiling volume, the customer has the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect. Such termination shall not affect the validity of the contract entered into beforehand.
Ceiling volume sub-area 2
The customer estimates its total need for services covered by the framework agreement sub-area 2 to SEK 18,000,000. This constitutes the roof volume of the sub-area. If the turnover of the sub-area reaches the ceiling volume, the customer has the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect. Such termination shall not affect the validity of the contract entered into beforehand.
If a framework agreement is signed with the same supplier for both sub-area 1 and sub-area 2, the ceiling volumes for each sub-area will be combined into one ceiling volume (30 000 000 SEK).
During the period of contract, changes may occur based on group decisions, changes in activity and more that may affect the need and volume. The supplier is required to deliver the real need.
