Stadtwerke Elmshorn as awarding body intend to renovate and attract the existing indoor swimming pool in Elmshorn (Zum Krückaupark, 25337 Elmshorn) in the years 2018 and 2019. The recommissioning is scheduled for 2019. The spa park Elmshorn was opened in 1969 and consists of an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a sauna facility. The entire property is in a condition of rehabilitation due to age, but some parts have increased need for renovation. This is especially true for the teaching and swimming pool.

However, the outdoor pool and sauna facilities are not part of the renovation. The sauna facility located in the building of the indoor pool should basically remain in operation during the construction phase and will be integrated into the renovation concept. For the construction contracts (allocation units / lots), contract notices are made in several award packages / units. Currently, the allocation unit / VE 474 - Badtechnische equipment is tendered.
