USHT's paramount social task is to contribute to strengthening the quality in the health and care sector through subject and competence development and the spreading of new knowledge, new systems and national guidelines.

In connection with this, USHT region Drammen shall implement an innovative, joint contract for the procurement of professional E-training programme for the health, social and care sector.

The contract includes the following municipalities:

— Drammen municipality

— Lier municipality

— Svelvik municipality

— Nedre Eiker municipality

— Øvre Eiker municipality

Nedre Eiker municipality, Svelvik municipality and Drammen municipality shall sign a joint contract. However the municipalities shall be invoiced separately until the municipal merge is effective from 1.1.2020. Lier municipality and Øvre Eiker municipality shall enter into one contract each.
