The client intends to set up three innovative combined heat and power systems (iKWK system) in Rosenheim. iKWK systems are particularly energy-efficient systems in which highly efficient CHP systems are operated in conjunction with regenerative and electrical heat generators. As part of the implementation of this project, the construction of three heat pump systems is planned. The nearby Mühlbach stream serves as a heat source. The heat of the stream water is taken from the existing cooling water system of the waste incineration plant (MHKW) and fed into the intermediate circuit (brine circuit) to the evaporator of the heat pump via a transfer heat exchanger.
3 expansion stages are planned, with each expansion stage providing a heating output of 1.5 MWth. All 3 heat pump systems will be installed in a new building.
